Happy Holidays

New Beginnings, encaustic on board 8×8. Part of Artistree Gallery’s silent auction to benefit their Scholarship fund at the Small Works Exhibition, 11/14-12/20 2025.

As always, the winter holiday season arrives quickly and I have been trying to be more intentional in my actions and responses to life as our world becomes ever more chaotic and I want to set aside some time to think about a few of things I am grateful for in terms of artwork:

I am ever grateful for my studio practice. It nurtures my creativity while also helping to keep me grounded

I am so grateful always for my family and friends who also nurture my creativity while helping me stay grounded

I am grateful to have my artwork featured in three galleries this year!

I was thrilled to have my first small solo show this year! My studio is small so it is not easy to see a series of work displayed in one space and it was joy to have that opportunity this summer and fall.

I’m so grateful I can wish everyone a peaceful & joyful holiday season!

Laura Graveline

I am a practicing artist and work primarily with encaustic and oils. Much of my work focuses on the play of light and color. I attempt to use paint and pigment to capture the feeling of energy and transformation.
